Why cardboard?

A question we often get and that is very logical. Cardboard is not (yet) an everyday material, but we would like to change that.
Why we are fans!
★★★★★

Slide

Very nice product, and it arrived super fast. The product looks great, was neatly packaged, and shipped; I'm satisfied!

★★★★★

Wheel of Fortune

Fast and cheerful delivery. The order arrived less than 24 hours later. Everything was complete and neatly packaged. Kartent also has a good sense of humor.

★★★★★

Folding bed

Super fun kit! Fast delivery, no plastic packaging, and easy to assemble. Luckily, we did it with two people, as it would be a bit tricky on our own. The bed looks great.

Light letters

Really cool products and super-fast delivery! The website is super user-friendly. The products are delivered very quickly and are easy to assemble thanks to the clear instructions. Always a pleasure to order from here.

★★★★★

Custom plate

Exactly, super fast and neat. Delivered very neatly and quickly. They even prepared my instructions for how the departure should go in the cardboard box. Simply fantastic!

★★★★★

Canal house

Even better than expected. The idea alone was reason enough to order. Now that the canal house is finished, it's even better. The painting has started and is getting better and better.

★★★★★

Partition wall

Driven and visible. Easy to find online and genuinely engaging with people. The only one who views cardboard as a utility rather than a packaging material.

Kartent business

From creative exhibition stands, displays, signing and events to customization for campaigns, project design and business applications: we make absolutely everything from cardboard.

Frequently asked questions about cardboard

Our products are tested extensively, including for sturdiness! If the two of us can sit on them without any problems, they should be easy to hold you! Of course, we didn't sit on our laptop stands and animal heads, but you probably weren't planning on that either, right?

Our cardboard can definitely take a beating! Are you having a clumsy day and knocking over a glass of water? That doesn't matter! Pat the cardboard dry with a cloth and let it dry. But an autumn storm in the backyard might be asking a bit too much. Of course, it also varies per product; for example, our tent, the KarTent, can definitely take a shower! To prove it, we put it through the car wash. Yes, really! Check it out here ! (Disclaimer: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME! ).

In any case, it is of course always possible that some water stains will remain visible on the cardboard.

Good question! Of course it is always difficult to draw a specific comparison between our products and the more 'regular' variant of the products; that varies quite a bit per type of product.

1) Our cardboard consists of at least 73% recycled paper, the remainder consists of new wood fibres.

2) Our products are not made in faraway countries, so they do not have to be transported here with polluting transport! Moreover, many colleagues come to work by bike!

3) After your order we immediately start working to make your product 'fresh' from our cardboard! So we do not make a product too much and have no stock!

4) After use, your product is 100% recyclable.
