Een terugblik op het afgelopen jaar!

A look back at the past year!

As the year slowly draws to a close, we look back with a big smile. We're incredibly proud of the many wonderful collaborations, creative projects, new products, and the rebranding of the past year. But most of all, we're proud of our team who are making all these cardboard dreams a reality!

And because this Christmas season is all about warmth and togetherness, we want to thank you for your trust and the wonderful moments of the past year. In this blog post, we'd like to look back at some of our 2025 cardboard highlights.

January
The year kicked off with a huge amount of cardboard at Horecava! This trade show is a huge celebration with the tastiest, most colorful, and most cheerful booths and companies. This year, we built sustainable booths for Meindersma , Payper , Rose & Vanilla , Scoobs & Winstons , and Suboro !

February
The following month, we outdid ourselves again! In February, we made a life-size Porsche for The Diecast Company. Not out of steel, but entirely out of cardboard. The cardboard layers were individually drawn, cut out, and glued together. The result was fantastic. It was such a success that we now have the 3D model as a product: see here !

March

We were anything but idle in March either! For the exhibition 'Recollection' at the East Quay Watchet Museum, we collaborated with Pearce+ and George Hardwood Smith designed modular cardboard display cases with seating and reading areas. These were completely custom-made and had to be shipped all the way to the south of the UK! This photo was taken by Joseph Horton .

April
We've had a new corporate identity since April! We've updated our brand, including our colors, logo, and typography. This new style even more clearly reflects what we stand for: surprising, creative, and environmentally friendly cardboard solutions and creating cardboard eye-catchers!

May
Finally, the weather warmed up a bit! This allowed us to do another photoshoot outside. We had a wonderful day with our models, Kate and Alexis, and the photos show it! All the cardboard toys were a huge hit and everyone played with them enthusiastically.

June
We truly make everything out of cardboard, and we proved that again in June. Smurfit Kappa designs, produces, and supplies cardboard packaging. For their office in the Netherlands, we collaborated with Fokkema & Partners Architects to design a sustainable office interior . And this time, it's made with even more cardboard! This photo was taken by Bram Vreugdenhil of Studio Roodenburch.

July
Our creative minds don't stop at cardboard! Behind the scenes, we're working on a huge number of projects that also energize us. Merchandise is no exception! In July, we received the first samples of these shirts and sweaters . They're now available on our website!

August
In August we have the setup for the Google Chrome event Created . With a lot of creative freedom and the great collaboration with Laurent Moussiaux, this was one of the most fun projects we've ever worked on. For the observant viewer: here's our Kartent sweater and the white Kartent shirt !

September
This year we celebrated our 10th anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than with a party! All our colleagues and friends were invited to celebrate our birthday!

October
In October, we designed a complete cardboard exhibition stand for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles at the Taxi Expo, entirely in their own style and branding. This included a counter, standing tables, bar stools, and a large cardboard pillar to which a TV was mounted.

November
We've been working on another project since the summer: Tica ! Tica is a B2B purchasing center, and now you can also purchase our illuminated letters and pedestals there. We designed and built the stand ourselves.

December
To end the year on a high note, our cardboard has made it onto the Royal Family's LinkedIn account . How cool is that!

We look forward to taking sustainable steps together again in the new year. Wishing you a sparkling new year!
