To ensure our production runs smoothly and error-free, we're looking for an experienced DTP technician who is comfortable creating clean files, consistent formats, and clear production requirements.

What are you going to do?

As a technical DTP specialist, you ensure that ideas, customer inquiries, and existing products are correctly developed into production-ready material.

• Layout, preparation and technical elaboration of production drawings and print files
• Checking files for dimensions, cutting lines, printing and technical feasibility
• Implement corrections, changes and feedback in existing files
• Printing stickers and banners
• Using nesting software to process orders according to a tight schedule

Who we are looking for:

The focus in this role is on structure, accuracy, and technical execution. Ideas and designs are often already in place and you'll expertly prepare them for production.

• You have extensive experience as a DTP specialist, preferably in a technical or production-oriented environment
• You work very accurately, in a structured manner and in a solution-oriented manner.
• You have an excellent command of Adobe Illustrator (Photoshop/InDesign is a plus)
• You have experience working with fixed formats and production files
• Experience with production drawings, packaging design or stand construction is an advantage
• You maintain an overview and can easily coordinate with colleagues
• You have spatial insight and can easily visualize 2D drawings in 3D
• You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment with short lines and deadlines

As a technical DTP specialist at Kartent, you won't be working on concepts or designs. Initially, it's essential to be present in the office to ensure proper work and, of course, to learn all about the world of cardboard!
