GS1 Belgium & Luxembourg helps companies worldwide with standardized systems to optimize their supply chain and make product information transparent. For their trade fair stand, they wanted an interactive way to promote the Digital Product Passport (DPP). Our solution? A custom-made Wheel of Fortune!

A game to learn

The Digital Product Passport is a step towards a circular economy, in which product information is shared in a uniform manner. Our Wheel of Fortune helps trade fair visitors understand in a playful way how the DPP works and what benefits it offers. By turning the wheel, visitors discovered the role of different stakeholders, such as producers, retailers, consumers and recyclers, in the life cycle of a product.

The cardboard wheel

The wheel was designed with user-friendliness and visual appeal in mind. A clever mechanism ensures that the front always remains readable, while the back moves. Pictograms and short texts clarify the impact of the DPP, from product information to recycling instructions. Thanks to the reusable cardboard design, the wheel fits in perfectly with GS1's sustainability vision.

Interaction and awareness

The Wheel of Fortune became a real crowd puller at the fair. Visitors actively got to work with the concept and gained direct insight into how standardized data contributes to a more efficient and sustainable supply chain. This playful approach allowed GS1 and its visitors to discuss the future of product data in an accessible way.
