For Art Poetry & Design, we at Kartent were given the opportunity to work on a heartwarming project in the lead-up to the holidays. We created several charming Christmas houses from fire-resistant corrugated cardboard and honeycomb cardboard. These cheerful houses were installed in three different hospitals in The Hague, where they served as temporary decorations during the Christmas season.

The houses were fully assembled and dismantled on-site by our team. Thanks to the use of fire-resistant cardboard, the houses met the safety requirements for healthcare institutions. And thanks to the honeycomb structure, we were able to achieve that robust, inviting look without compromising durability or ease of assembly.

A lesson learned for us? The roof trusses could be a bit sturdier! Something we'll definitely address for any future editions. We're constantly improving, and that's precisely what makes custom work so enjoyable.
