Of course, it is always difficult to draw a specific comparison between our products and the more 'regular' variant of the products; that varies quite a bit per type of product. A number of reasons why cardboard is a sustainable choice:
1) Our cardboard consists of at least 73% recycled paper, the remainder consists of new wood fibres with certification.
2) After your order we immediately start to make your product 'fresh' from our cardboard. So we do not make too much product and have no stock.
3) After use, your product can always be 100% recycled
Cardboard is a safe material and will not easily ignite. If you would like more certainty, fire certificates are available for a number of our materials and several options are possible. This depends on the specific wishes and requirements of the customer. We are of course happy to advise you on this.
